Today, roughly 40-60% of our social interactions happen Online, mainly on Social Media platforms.
However, of all this time we spend on social media, how much is actually spent connecting with our people—keeping in touch, meeting new people, maintaining existing relationships, etc.?
If used in moderation, these social media platforms are a way to entertain ourselves. The problem comes when we try to meet our social needs through these kind of platforms.
But, why is that? Why doesn’t social media meet our social needs?
